With work from home here to stay for many of us, sitting at our desks for long hours has become the norm. Unfortunately, many experts have said they predict an increase in sedentary behavior because of it. Having a sedentary lifestyle can increase your risk of developing chronic conditions such as heart disease, which happens to be the leading cause of death for both men and women.

While working from home, there are three types of exercise that can help improve your heart health—aerobics, stretching and resistance training.
