Retail: State of The Hourly Workforce

As the nation’s largest private-sector employer, retail supports more than 1 in 4 U.S. jobs — in other words, an astonishing 52 million working Americans! In our annual State of the Hourly Retail Workforce, we polled 600 retail hourly workers and managers - the results highlight some great opportunities for retailers to improve employee satisfaction, productivity, and ultimately retention by providing stable and flexible schedules, safer working conditions.
