Security. Rightly or wrongly, public sector organisations continue to rule out the cloud because they believe it to be less capable from a security standpoint than an on-premises solution. And whilst the public sector is quite right to hold security capability in such a high regard, the cloud shouldn’t be overlooked. In fact, by adopting a multi-cloud philosophy it can actually be more secure than an on-premises alternative.
