Evolution of Modern Digital Workloads

Traditionally there were only really two ways of upgrading a server to support increased demand: either by adding CPUs or increasing memory. Today, higher consumer expectations have led to a demand for organisations to offer constant updates & high availability whilst reducing costs to remain competitive. This in turn has left many organisations with challenge of upgrading their servers, commonly known as scale-up architecture.
